The City of Alameda is designing its Neighborhood Greenways, which are streets designed to give priority to people walking and biking by lowering auto volumes and speeds, and making street crossings safer and more comfortable.

The first three streets slated for Neighborhood Greenway implementation, in 2024/2025, are the Slow Street sections of:

  • Pacific Ave
  • Versailles Ave
  • Morton St/San Jose Ave

We want to learn about the specific challenges you have when walking, biking or rolling on these three streets. You can also add comments on the other six streets, also shown on the map, that are part of Alameda’s 2030 Low-Stress Backbone Network (and are planned to be implemented between 2025 and 2030). Please share challenges crossing streets and as you travel along the street. You can identify as many issues as you wish.

Please focus your input on the Neighborhood Greenways, which are highlighted on the map. Concerns about other streets are best reported here in SeeClickFix.
