What is Safe Streets for All?

Each year, more than 40,000 people die on America's roads. This shocking statistic led the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to create a new National Roadway Safety Strategy to reach a goal of zero roadway deaths. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) established the new Safe Streets for All (SS4A) program to fund roadway safety projects across the country. You can learn more about the SS4A Program at https://www.transportation.gov/grants/SS4A.

Please Provide Your Input!

As Bloomington starts our SS4A work, we want to ensure the plan represents what the community (you!) wants and needs.

You can learn more about the project on the project website at https://bloomington.in.gov/transportation/SS4A or email the Project Manager, Ryan Robling, at roblingr@bloomington.in.gov with any questions.
