The City of Madison is working with the Wisconsin Bike Fed and the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) to create a citywide Safe Routes to School Plan. We would like to know where you have traffic safety concerns related to students who want to walk, bike, or roll to school.

Walking and Biking to School in Madison

Feeling safe is a major factor in whether students and their families choose to walk, bike, or roll to school in Madison. Tell us about locations in the city that you think are unsafe for students walking and biking.

Use the “Safety Concern Point" to mark spot issues such as intersections or crossings. Use “Safety Concern Route” to mark linear issues such as missing sidewalks or bike lanes.
