The Northwest Trail Connections Plan will help Milwaukee County Parks understand where more trails are needed in Milwaukee’s northwest neighborhoods. We want to hear from you about your experiences and the routes you take biking or walking to the Oak Leaf Trail.

Trail Connections in Northwest Milwaukee

Use the "Add New Routes or Trail Connections" tab to see the input we received.

This plan will build on previous studies that have proposed trail corridors throughout northern Milwaukee County. Take a look at the previously-proposed trails and let us know what you think!

  • Mouse over a trail to see information about that segment.
  • Clicking on legend items will toggle those features on and off. You can use the + and - signs on the map or your mouse's scroll wheel to zoom in to see neighborhoods and the proposed locations in greater detail.
  • The map's layers icon allows you to switch to a satellite imagery basemap.
  • Search for a specific address using the search
