Palisades Shared Use Path Study

Welcome to the Palisades Shared Use Path Study online web map!

Thank you for visiting the online engagement site. The survey is now closed. You can still view the map, but you will not be able to add comments.

This experience is best when used on a computer rather than a phone.

This study will explore the feasibility of making connections through the Palisades between the George Washington Bridge to the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge safer, more intuitive, and more accessible for people walking, biking, running, and rolling.

The study area follows the Palisades Interstate Parkway and US 9W corridor, traversing the city of Englewood, and the Boroughs of Englewood Cliffs, Tenafly, and Alpine in New Jersey and Piermont, Grandview-on-Hudson, and South Nyack in New York.

Creating better connections for people walking, biking, and rolling could help to improve the health and quality of life for residents, tourists, and businesses by maximizing access to recreation, the outdoors, and active transportation. It could also build connectedness and sense of community, support economic development and tourism, and provide opportunities to enhance local history, culture, and environmental sustainability.

Please use this map to tell us about potential amenities, points of safety concerns, and missing connections that could help to improve how people experience the area.

Your name and email are not required but will be helpful if we have questions about your comments.
