This project studies South George Mason Drive from Arlington Blvd to the Fairfax County Line to improve safety and access for people walking, rolling, biking, taking transit, and driving.

We want to hear from you!

This form takes 10-15 minutes. We’ll ask you to share a little bit about who you are, how you use South George Mason Drive, and ask for your feedback on how to make the corridor better for all who use it. Your feedback will help create short-term and long-term visions for the corridor. For more information about the project, visit the South George Mason Drive Multimodal Corridor Study project page.

All responses are optional and confidential.

How To Use the Map

Use the various drawing buttons to share information about the study area. Share things that you like that should be kept and expanded as well as things you dislike or concerns that you would like to see addresses.

Clicking on legend items will toggle those features on and off. You can use the + and - signs on the map or your mouse's scroll wheel to zoom in to see neighborhoods and the proposed locations in greater detail. The map's layer icon (layers) allows you to switch to a satellite imagery basemap. You can use the magnifying class icon (search) to search for a specific address

Your feedback will help the project team to better understand exisiting conditions, and create and refine a short-term and a long-term vision for the corridor. For the portion of the corridor from Columbia Pike to the County Line, the study will further develop the recommendations into a preliminary concept (15% design) to include in future funding and grant applications.

Please join us for walking tours of the corridor on Saturday April 23rd and Thursday April 28th. See project webpage for more details and to stay up to date on the project.
