Vision Zero Columbus Near East Neighborhood Slow Zones Pilot Program

Thank you for visiting the online engagement site. The survey is now closed. You can still view the map, but you will not be able to add comments.

Slow Zones are designated areas in neighborhoods where vehicle speeds are intentionally reduced through signage, design features, or other traffic calming measures. The Slow Zones program aims to create safer, more comfortable environments for people walking, biking, playing, and living.

By reducing vehicle speeds on residential streets, Slow Zones help to:

  • Create safer and more inviting streets for walking, biking, and everyday activity.
  • Lower the risk and severity of crashes for all road users.
  • Reduce aggressive driving and cut-through traffic.
  • Create more community-friendly streets that support social interaction and livability.

We Need Your Input

We want to hear where you think specific improvements would or would not work well in your neighborhood. This survey should take no more than 10 minutes. Please:

  • Complete the quick survey to share your ideas and concerns.
  • Use the interactive map to mark locations where improvements are needed.

Tip: This survey works best on a computer.
